Tap the Safe (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is a casual puzzle game operated by Shissou. This policy explains information handled when you use the app.

Information handled

• Anonymous account identifier: Firebase creates an anonymous user ID for leaderboards and online progress.
• Profile and gameplay: optional display name, cosmetic, scores, completion times, attempts, campaign and ladder progress, and Daily Challenge results.
• Purchases: RevenueCat and Apple process subscription and purchase status. We receive entitlement and product status, not payment-card details.
• Advertising: Google AdMob may process device, ad-interaction, and diagnostic information for non-personalized rewarded ads, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.
• Diagnostics: release builds may send app version, device/OS, crash, and performance details to our diagnostics provider after that service is enabled.
• Support: if you email us, we receive the address and content you choose to send.

How information is used

We use information to run gameplay and leaderboards, restore purchases, grant benefits, prevent abuse, provide support, diagnose failures, and improve reliability and balance.

Service providers

Information is processed by providers needed to run the app, including Apple, Google Firebase, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Expo/EAS, and our diagnostics provider when enabled. Their handling is governed by their own terms. We do not sell personal information.

Leaderboards

Your display name, cosmetic, and score may be visible to other players. Do not use your real name or include personal information. Players can report names and hide another player locally.

Retention and deletion

Local gameplay data remains until you reset progress or remove the app. Online data is retained while needed to provide and protect the service. Request deletion at [email protected]. Include your player name and anonymous player ID if available.

Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction records for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Children

Tap the Safe is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Never include personal details in a display name.

Security and choices

We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure. You may avoid a custom name, decline rewarded ads, reset progress, hide or report players, and request deletion.
